Rotate PDF pages: fix scans that landed sideways

Phone scans and copier feeds often save pages 90° off. Readers on phones struggle with sideways text; printing wastes margins.

One pass, correct orientation

Rotate once against the error direction. If a mixed PDF has only a few bad pages, some desktop editors rotate per page—online tools often assume a uniform fix, so split odd sections first if orientations differ wildly.

OCR and thumbnails

After rotation, thumbnail order should read naturally top-to-bottom. If text layers look wrong, the source may have embedded rotation flags; try exporting fresh from the scanner app.
