Remove PDF pages: retire obsolete pricing without rebuilding the whole contract
Published
Delete inclusive ranges safely, keep at least one page, and document what disappeared for audit trails.
Sales operations frequently inherit PDF packets where appendix B still lists last year’s price card even though the signature page is current. Re-exporting from Word is not always possible—flattened PDFs or scanned amendments mean removal is the fastest hygiene pass before external sharing.
Inclusive ranges delete exactly what you list
Typing 18-22 removes pages eighteen through twenty-two inclusive. Never remove every page; keep a legal minimum of one leaf. When in doubt, duplicate the file locally before experimenting.
Pair removal with extract mentally
Removal drops what you specify; extraction keeps only what you specify. Choose removal when ninety percent of the file stays and only a slice is toxic.
Log what you removed
Record the deleted page ranges and rationale in your CRM or contract log—legal ops will ask months later. If you drop a large chunk, confirm the table of contents or internal links no longer point at missing pages.
